Secure Medical Identity Solutions: Health Information Exchange
DSA is an integrator of a scalable, standards-based, and secure Health Information Exchange (HIE) solution for collection, storage, processing, distribution, and protection of medical data within individual medical institutions and at regional and national levels. This federated HIE system utilizes HL7 messaging protocols to normalize data. Regardless of the EMR in use, a medical faciltiy links into the network and shares and receives electronic medical records from participating facilities in the HIE. These data transmissions meet all HIPAA guidelines and are only initiated as needed.
